Two of the aforementioned cyanotypes are off to this year’s Discerning Eye exhibition at the Mall Galleries, which opens next week. I last exhibited here in 2022 but, for various reasons i don’t remember (probably colds and flu) I didn’t make it to either the PV or the show itself. So it will be good to pop in next week to see what they look like amongst other artists’ creations. How and where they’re hung really does make all the difference…
I am eschewing the Private View. A three-hour round trip, with the expense that means (including dog sitting) seems madness in this financial climate. And I don’t do small talk. I absolutely hate it. So I’m combining my trip with something else I need to do to justify the train journey on the following day. That’s allowed, right?
